If search is a big part of how shoppers navigate your store - we think it is more utilized than store owners realize - you should take a long look at adopting an advanced search function.

By default, the Yahoo advanced search pages draw their format (header and footer) from your checkout design.  If you require a departure from your checkout design, please let us know.

• Yahoo's search allows your shoppers to filter based on price as well as categories.
• Product categorization is based on the LAST SECTION a page was added to in your yahoo store.
• OPTIONAL: Your website side-navigation can be integrated on the search results page.
• Stores choosing to incorporate side-navigation must be at least 900 pixels wide including the side-nav.

How do I determine an item's category in my Yahoo store?

Yahoo sets the "parent" as the last section you place an item into.

Example: If you have a page and you load it into two sections (POTTERY and CLEARANCE) and you loaded that page into the CLEARANCE section last, the CLEARANCE section will be the 'parent' section in the Yahoo store.
