Search Engine Optimization "SEO" is a key element of your Yahoo! store design. Natural search results are ever more important especially with the rapidly rising cost of Pay Per Click advertising. The Your Store Wizards SEO Essentials PAK combines what we believe are the fundamental enhancements to help boost your Y Store SEO (search engine presence).

We will install the following enhancements into your store.

• Text Item Title conversion.  
  We change your item titles to text.
  Everyone knows the basic Yahoo Store presents item titles as images. Images are good for highly stylized fonts, but they do very little for search engines. They also slow down the speed at which your site loads. Most likely the title of your page contains the most important keywords; therefore, it would be good for search engines to see this. Search engines also give more weight to larger text on the page. The logic: since the website designer made those words larger they must be really important. We program your RTML to show titles as <H1> text controlled by CSS.
  
   

• Text Side Navigation.  
  We will install Text Side Navigation* which significantly improves SEO. This can include expanding subsections or a SEO friendly flyout menu.
   

• Automatic Meta Tags.  
  In order to best prepare their site for search engines, store owners should have unique keyword and description meta tags on every page of their sites. Unfortunately, with Yahoo's default templates you have to override the head tags property as well as the keywords property on each page. A lot of time and work. Don't miss out on possible search engine traffic because you don't have the time to optimize. We can help save you time by modifying your templates to automatically generate Description and Keyword meta tags for every item on your site. This enhancement will also remove common words from your keywords meta tags to best optimize for search engines.
  
   

• Enhanced Breadcrumbs.  
  You have probably seen this before:
  You Are Here: Home > Section A > Section B > Item
  These are breadcrumbs. We will rewrite your RTML Template to show breadcrumbs. Breadcrumbs allow your customers to navigate through your site easily and hassle-free.  They are great for SEO too!
   

• Alt Tags for All Images
  Search engines rely on page content to develop their rankings. Having Alt Tags properly set up is a great way to increase page content on your site.
   

• Related Items Text Links.  
  We will create a new related items area on each item page! This includes text links to the items in the parent section. Great for customers and search engines too!
   

• Site Map.  
  We will include a Categorized Site Map! Not only is a site map very readable by the search engines (all your major categories listed with sections and subsections), but it is also much more usable for your customers.
