Order Checker ManualRequirements:Windows PC with Internet Explorer 4.0 or above. How Do I Use It?: The Yahoo Store Order Checker is designed to be very simple to use. There are only a few selections that you need to worry about. After running the program you will first see the settings screen. The fields are filled out below as follows: Store ID: This is where you put the ID of your Yahoo Store. Your Yahoo Store ID is the portion of your store name that follows "store.yahoo.com/" in your store URL. For example, if your store is located at http://store.yahoo.com/buybathware then your Store ID is buybathware. Yahoo User ID & Password: These fields are where you must enter your Yahoo User ID and Password which you use to access and edit your store. These fields are used to access your store manager so the program may do the uploads and they are not used for any other purposes. These settings are saved when you exit the program but they are encrypted so they can't be easily found by anyone accessing your computer. Yahoo Secure Password: This is the field where you enter your secure password for accessing orders. This field is used to access your store manager so the program may do the checks and they are not used for any other purposes. These settings are saved when you exit the program but they are encrypted so they can't be easily found by anyone accessing your computer. Payment Methods To Ignore: This field is used if you want it to automatically assume that alternate payment methods have been handled properly (PayPal, GiveAnything, etc.). You must enter a list of the payment methods exactly as they are spelled in your store manager and separated by commas. If you do not list the alternate payment method in this box (or list it properly) then it will automatically show up as a possible uncharged order. Once you have loaded your settings you will see the screen shown below. All you need to do is enter the starting and ending order numbers to check and click the check orders button. Starting Order Number: This field is where you put in the first order you want to have the system review. Ending Order Number: This field is where you put in the last order you want to have the system review. If you leave this field blank it will process until your last order. The program can only check orders in batches of 500 or less in order to try and avoid memory constraints and provide the fastest checking available. Verify Shipped Orders: This check box tells the program that you want to verify that every order in the series is either cancelled or entirely marked as shipped. Verify Charged Orders: This check box tells the program that you want to verify that every order in the series is either cancelled or charged the full order amount. For charge verification it ignores any credits to the cards and just accounts for charges and voided charges. Check Orders: This button is what starts the order checking process. After it completes it's task it will report back that it has completed and verified your orders. Any previously checked orders from the Outstanding Order screen are removed and replaced with any orders that are missing some information. Print Problem List: This button will print out the Outstanding Order screen contents to any printer you select.
Any orders listed in the Outstanding Orders screen either have not been completely shipped or not been completely charged, or both. You will need to verify each order to find out if there was a reason for this or if the order should have been marked as cancelled. That is it.
